Here I want to review a two blogs, namely TMZ and NME, and, even if the both blogs have same purpuse, they do it in completly different ways, but more about that below.
The both websites meet as with clear telling what the blog will be about: news.

With sticking to the format, same as with organizatoin I think everything fine, both web-sites easy to use and they don't suddenly change their purpose of overviewing news to baking cakes of something like that, because on my think TMZ doing it too aggressive and clikbaiting. Explain what I mean:

Here we see the two same articles on the same news, the TMZ make the screaming topic, includes a video from accident, and telling about bloody details, in opposite we have a NME ich just camly tells reader whats happened, include police report, and post from artist's twitter. And here is good illustration of my personal problem with TMZ, because I think news is not really a good place for "bread and circuses".

So, what we have in the bottom line? If you like to read about scandals, rumors, and all other delights of the yellow press - TMZ is surely your choice, but if you just wonder know what happens in the world, I think NME will help you better with it.

  1. Good start on this entry. Don't forget that before you jump into analyzing and considering the blogs themselves, you first need to set up the post, establish the context, and invite the reader into the conversation. The comparison you make with the same incident and how it is reported is a very interesting point. Aside from the content and purpose of the sites you consider, analyze the elements of the blogs that also impact the reader/viewer's experience. Font? Color? Size? Photo to text ratio? Simplicity versus busyness, etc.? Good job with your images and sources.
