Entry #4: Mind of the Virtuoso

Do you ever meet a character, which completely horrible in any aspect that has to do with him? The character, that you look at and just has no idea how anyone could relate and like someone like this? No matter your answers above, I will meet you with this feeling. Allow me to introduce, The Virtuoso, Artisan Killer, Golden Demon, or just the Khada Jhin, at your service.

Runs fast about his background, he was born in Ioniastudied how to use ki techniques, and worked as a theatrical stagehand, which apparently influenced his personality after. At the one moment, for an unknown reason, he decided to start wreaking havoc and destruction in the peaceful Ionian villages, as result got caught by Master Kusho and his students, and locked away at the monastery prison in Tuula. After a while of victory against Noxus, Jhin was released for internal political reasons, the main of which was to intimidate the common people so that they would not create a rebellion against the current government, which allowed this war to happen. New political patrons give Golden Demon a "foreigner weapon", which hardly improves his destructive power, and freedom in mostly of his doing, and for right now is just a question of time before the whole Runterra gets to know about Khada Jhin.

You probably going to tell me, yes, all the above information gives us a general understanding of who is this character, but the question is still unanswered: Why would anyone find a character like this attractive? Well, maybe that disappoints someone, but in my personal think that is simply good character development. I mean, you can really believe, that he could be a real person and not just a "favorite author child". Yes, he is a skilled fighter and knows much about his work, but there are still situations where the result of a fight is not on his side. Yes, many times he found himself in the right place at the right time, but even so, the same situation often happens with his enemies too.

    Yes, he is
wreaking havoc among people, making them scared for just mentioning his name and becoming a real demon in their eyes, but there is a totally opposite situation between him and the other champions, which include skilled warriors, great wizards, actual gods, and monsters from your worst nightmares. That people and creatures expectedly don't react to his doing so emotionally, treat him just as a regular guy, or even more, many of them think that he is just an annoying freak.

And yes, he is a maniac obsessed with murder, and the number four, who builds whole his personality about his job, but at the end of the day he stays just a human, who could laugh for himself or the people around him, be ashamed about some of his decisions, be depend of something or someones doing, and just in general appear more then one emotion of endless superiority, he is not been full time a selfish-narcissistic-creator, even if he wants so.

"...He had finished polishing it, but with the gun in his right hand, the temptation was too great. He knew he shouldn’t, but he unpacked the black, eel-skin bodysuit. He drew the fingertips of his left hand across the slick surface of the clothes. The feel of the skin’s oily surface quickened his breath. He picked up the tight, leather mask, then—unable to help himself—slid it over his face. It covered his right eye and mouth. It constricted his breathing and removed his depth perception...

Delightful."
Here are more specific examples of why I think that all the answers are hidden in good character design, but if I continue this, it becomes a whole essay, so if you wanna see more, here are links below.
And for right now, thank you for your attention, and I hope I will see you on our next trip into the universes.
